Melissa graduated with a Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling in 2016. She is a registered member of PACFA and ACA.

In 2018, Melissa will complete her Masters degree; her major research paper is about increasing resilience in adolescents and young adults.

Melissa is committed to ongoing education and remaining up to date with the latest research in adolescent mental and emotional health.

One of her main areas of interest is supporting and preparing students studying VCE for the transition from school to a life beyond.

Having raised a family, Melissa is aware of the difficulties often faced by young adults and their parents. She has worked, and continues to work, in a school environment with students aged from 12 to 18. Melissa believes that support during this time can lead to more positive outcomes, both academically and personally.

Adopting a client centred, integrated approach, Melissa aims to assist individuals in developing a sense of wellbeing, improving personal relationships and developing insight and skills to better manage their emotions and the challenges that may face them.

You do not need a referral or mental health plan to make an appointment to see Melissa.
