Megan is the Clinical Manager and a Senior Sports Physiotherapist at Bounce Health Group. She has completed post grad qualifications, having a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy.
Megan has a wealth of Sports Physiotherapist experience and enjoys the challenges of working with both the “weekend warrior” recreational athlete right through to the Olympic, National & professional level Athletes.
Megan has recently finished up her role as the Women’s Program Physiotherapist for Cricket Australia where she was the team Physiotherapist for the Australian Women’s Cricket Team (The Southern Stars) and the Australian Women’s Cricket Development Team (The Shooting Stars) for more than 3 years. This role took her all over the world with a highly successful team winning 3 consecutive World Cups as well as the most recent Women’s Ashes.
Megan is also a Tournament Physiotherapist for Tennis Australia working with professional tennis players on the ITF Pro circuit, AMT’s, Nationals and has previously worked as a Physiotherapist at Grand Slam level at a number of Australian Opens.
Her original interest in Sports Physiotherapy became apparent when she sort physio treatment during her youth as a high level Gymnast, she then went on to become a Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Coach until she qualified as a Physio.
Her interest in sports extends beyond gymnastics (Vics & Nationals) now, with Megan having a vast array of sports experience including Tennis (Australian Open, ITF/Pro circuit, Nationals, December Show Down, Australian Open Qualifiers, Box Hill SSC-My Tennis School), Cricket (Australian Women’s teams- Southern Stars & Shooting Stars), Basketball (WNBL, SEABL, State teams), AFL Football (Hawthorn FC, TAC cup, various EFL teams). She is also the current head physio for Basketball Victoria and overseas their programs & state physios.
As well as treating the sporting athlete, her clinical interests involve the management of post operative patients where she takes particular pleasure in assisting her patients to achieve their optimum level of function and recovery.
