After graduating from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1995, Lynne has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including a large regional public hospital, prominent Melbourne orthopaedic hospital, neurology centre in London, and several Melbourne private practices. She completed a Graduate Diploma in Exercise and Sports Science in 1998. She worked at The Avenue Private Hospital where her role involved working alongside many prominent orthopaedic surgeons, providing pre and post surgical physiotherapy.
After undertaking further study in Clinical Pilates, she became a founding director of Pilates Bayside in 2003, a purpose-built Clinical Pilates Studio in Cheltenham. This new business rapidly grew to become one of the bayside areas most successful, respected and referred to Pilates studios. Her philosophy as a physiotherapist centres around strong interpersonal skills, undertaking thorough assessment for accurate diagnosis, and a partnership with her clients for treatment and management. Functional stability is at the “core” of treatment and rehabilitation techniques, and she has a special interest in spinal pain, dry needling, pre and post natal and orthopaedic rehabilitation.
Since starting her family, she currently works part-time at our City Baths Spinal and Sports Medicine Clinic, continuing her long professional relationship with Michael Vadiveloo.
