Dr. Lilach Shalom is looking forward to working together with you to reach your health goals. She is an acupuncturist who is AHPRA registered and a member of AACMA. Dr. Lilach loves treating any kind of health issue but she does also have some very special clinical interests which include: Prenatal and postpartum care Paediatric care, from babies to teens Emotional health and wellbeing Pain disorders Digestive disorders She also likes to combine different methods such as cupping, heat therapy, Gua Sha, Tui-Na and more, together with acupuncture to tailor the best treatment suitable to your needs.

Dr. Lilach's acupuncture journey stems back over 15 years where her fascination with acupuncture and Chinese medicine began. She first developed her interest in natural medicine in 2003 whilst visiting India. Here she took part in an Ayurvedic massage course at Pune University. She was so enthralled with the idea of complementary medicine that she enrolled the following year in an acupuncture school in her home country, at the time, Israel. Since then, this path has led her to amazing educational opportunities including a 3-month internship in a hospital in China.

Dr. Lilach's heart has always been drawn to Australia and she now feels very lucky to call it home. After moving here several years ago, she completed a Bachelor's Degree in Health Science (Acupuncture). One of the things that drew her to study Chinese Medicine was it’s ability to help with a wide range of general health conditions and the great importance it places on both emotional and physical health.

Treating disorders such as stress, anxiety and depression, together with treating aches and pains, has become her special interest and she is consistently reminded of how powerful the body is in healing itself, with just a little bit of help. She has devoted herself to studying different styles of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine therapies to bring even better, faster results to her clients.

Since her bachelor, Dr. Lilach has completed furthered studies in specialist areas including: Distal Needling Acupuncture (DNA) Master' Tung's Acupuncture Acupuncture for Digestive Disorders Acupuncture for Psoriasis and Eczema Shonishin (pediatric and non-needle techniques) Tongue Diagnosis She is currently undertaking a Master of Applied Science (Chinese Herbal Medicine) at RMIT.
