After a total of 22 years in the dental industry, Katie Lee Harper has seen a lot of teeth! A warm, compassionate hygienist and orofacial myologist, Katie began her career as a dental assistant. She has studied at a variety of institutions and has been with our team for over 16 years.
As a hygienist, Katie focuses on preventive, educational and therapeutic methods for controlling oral health problems. From a regular scale and clean to treating advanced stages of gum disease, from to teeth whitening and orthodontics, Katie’s priority is always a patient’s overall health and well-being. According to Katie, her biggest passion is helping patients work toward lives that are free from dental disease.
Katie is also qualified and experienced in orofacial myology, which involves any oral facial habits in children that may negatively affect facial growth. She is a member of the Dental Hygiene Association Australia and the Australian Orofacial Association.
Katie has two sons who keep her busy when she’s not at the clinic. When her sons aren’t playing footy or basketball, they can all be found camping in the summer. Katie is also a fan of netball and staying fit and active.
