As an AHPRA accredited Registered Psychologist, Jess is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and a registered Medicare provider. She has worked in school settings, supporting children, parents and teachers with issues such as anxiety, behaviour management, depression, grief and loss, ADHD, giftedness and anger management. Jess also has experience working with adults presenting with concerns such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, relationship difficulties, stress and adjustment to change. By providing a safe, respectful, positive and encouraging environment for clients to explore their personal and emotional difficulties, Jess is passionate about empowering her clients to embrace change utilising their personal strengths and values. Jess works from a strengths-based perspective incorporating aspects of a range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Narrative Therapy to motivate change, and facilitate awareness, acceptance and hope in her clients.
