Ms Jenny Carney is one of Adelaide’s leading dietitians in the area of gastroenterology. She graduated with a Masters of Nutrition & Dietetics from Flinders University in South Australia. Since 2002 Jenny has worked in a wide range of areas of clinical nutrition and developed specialist skills in nutrition and the field of Gastroenterology. Until 2013 Jenny worked in large public hospitals in Australia and the UK, in various areas of clinical nutrition. Responsibilities included leading the clinical nutrition team in the challenging field of Gastroenterology & Hepatology and mentoring numerous Dietetic students and new graduate Dietitians. Jenny’s keen interest in nutrition and the gut has led to a specialist Gastroenterology nutrition service at SA Group of Specialists. In addition to Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Coeliac disease, Pancreatic & Liver disease and Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Jenny also sees clients for weight loss, and general health & wellbeing. Jenny prides herself on being a problem solver for clients with challenging nutritional issues. Private health rebates available (dependent upon level of cover). Patients on an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) program are welcome.
