Hi, my name is Jacqueline. I am an AHPRA registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal practitioner with a particular passion for digging deeper into the mind-body connection - addressing anxiety and emotional imbalances; as well as all things female health. I hold a Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
11 years ago because my love for the ocean & the outdoor lifestyle brought me to Australia. Then I worked in corporate as so many of us do; but when eight years ago I got RSI so bad I could not type on the keyboard any longer, or even wash my hair; I decided I had to leave my job as a marketing manager. I was looking at different paths where I could be in an more healing profession; and the concepts behind Chinese medicine and acupuncture spoke to me. It was not that I jumped into the change overnight, but one morning I woke up and knew, I was ready.
Helping people with their pain, anxiety, sleep problems, period related problems and so much more is not just a job for me, it is my passion. Some of the things I treat in clinic I have dealt with myself at some point in my life and I feel it gives me a great way of relating to my patients.
I am also a practicing Buddhist. Having studied Buddhism for the last 10 years has certainly changed my view on life and what is important. I try to be the best version of myself every day. To get out of my head these days I meditate & practice Yin yoga. My more active pastimes are handball, reformer Pilates, body boarding & cooking beautiful wholesome food. I live in the heart of Sydney in Surry Hills with my husband.
