Elise is an experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist whose primary practice focuses on fertility, and relationship/couple therapy. She has over 10 years of experience in the fertility sector, in both private and public health fertility clinic settings and also within her own private practice. Elise has previously practised at the Lister Fertility Clinic in London, the United Kingdom, Homerton University Hospital Foundation Trust in London, United Kingdom, Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships as a Relationship Counsellor and as a Private Practitioner. Elise joined the Queensland Fertility Group in July 2018 as the Senior Counsellor. In May 2019, Elise joined Housman Psychology and the City Fertility Centre as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

Elise has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Marital and Couple Therapy and Certificate in Psychosexual Therapy from the University of East London, Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships. Elise has also completed a Bachelor of Nursing at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) (1996) and is a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). At all times, she abides by The Australian Counselling Association Code of Ethics.

Elise holds full membership of the Fertility Society of Australia (FSA) and of the Australian and New Zealand Infertility Counsellors’ Association (ANZICA).

Elise believes passionately in the provision of exceptional care for patients making fertility-related decisions and accessing assisted conception treatment, she believes that getting it right for the patient in terms of support, from the moment they step foot through the door, makes sound business sense.
