Danielle is an enthusiastic and compassionate psychologist who enjoys working collaboratively with people of all backgrounds across a variety of mental health concerns. Her approach is patient-centered where treatment is based on an individualised plan employing an adjusted and empirically-valid application of psychology. She aims to work with her clients to reduce life suffering, cultivate resilience and coping and move towards psychological wellbeing.
Danielle’s qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with Honours and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology. Danielle is primarily trained in Cognitive- Behavioural Therapy however she integrates other associated models of psychological therapy into her practice including ACT, DBT, Gottman and Schema modalities.
Each day I encounter individuals with a common plight, they are wanting to relieve themselves of their suffering. This suffering takes shape in different ways for different people. I focus much of my therapy on de-pathologising my client’s concerns. To try instill a sense of hope and meaning so that they can experience a life that is meaningful and rick.
