Belinda is a Registered Psychologist with experience in private practice, occupational rehabilitation and Out of Home Care who joined the Associated Psychology Practice in Penrith in July 2015. Prior to studying Psychology, Belinda worked as an Accountant for several years. Recognising her passion for working with people, she completed a Graduate Diploma in Psychology at the University of Sydney between 2004 and 2006 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology at Macquarie University in 2007. She completed her two year supervised internship in 2011.
Belinda has experience providing assessment and treatment to children aged 2-18 and adults. She has experience in the assessment and treatment of a variety of psychological conditions, including: depression, anxiety, attachment disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, recovery from injury and trauma, relationship problems, and work related stress and bullying.
Belinda utilises a variety of therapeutic techniques, including: cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, strengths-based practice, and graded exposure.
