I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist, having qualified 14 years ago. My particular areas of interest are working with adults experiencing anxiety and/or depression, but I also have experience working with a range of difficulties.
I offer a range of evidence based therapies, and draw on these to suit your needs. I take a compassionate and collaborative approach in therapy and we work very much together as a team toward your goals. I value creating a solid and safe therapeutic space where you can genuinely express yourself, and from which you can be empowered and supported to make change.
Previously I have worked at the Anxiety Disorder Treatment Service in New Zealand and been involved in research into anxiety. I have also previously worked in private practice in Australia as well as having worked for many years in a hospital outpatient rehabilitation service supporting clients adjusting following injury and illness (eg stroke, cardiac, surgery, pain). I have now returned to private practice, with this now being my main focus.
