Zuzana Machotka has over ten years’ experience working as a Physiotherapist in Australia and the United Kingdom. She has a Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy and a Masters degree in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia. Before moving to Bellbird Sports and Spinal, Zuzana worked at Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre and was the head of sports medicine at the Melbourne University Blues football club. She was also a Physiotherapist for the Australian Paralympic Ski Team.
Zuzana’s clinical interests include:
Hip, groin and knee conditions Running, cycling and swimming injuries Assessment and rehabilitation of running technique Dry needling, massage and manual therapy Helping people return to work and sport after injuries or surgery Zuzana has published in peer-reviewed journals in the areas of groin, hip and knee pain and is a chapter author for the textbook Clinical Sports Medicine which is used by Sports Doctors and Physiotherapists. She has presented research findings at conferences and is a reviewer for several Physiotherapy journals. Zuzana has lectured and run practical classes within the Physiotherapy programs at Monash University, The University of South Australia and The University of Melbourne
