Wade is a highly experienced titled musculoskeletal physiotherapist, one of just a few in the Geelong region. He graduated from the University of Sydney in 2008, and completed his musculoskeletal masters degree at The University of Queensland in Brisbane in 2017. He spent several years working as a musculoskeletal and emergency physiotherapist in Sydney before heading over to London. While in the UK, Wade worked with elite sportsmen and women from the English Premier League clubs, Olympic gymnasts, and national rugby players, largely focused on ankle, knee, and shoulder rehabilitation post-surgery. Wade is one of four Australian physiotherapists for the Australian Open Mens Grand Slam, and covers the ITF Junior and Australian Pro Series tournaments around Australia. He is also a biomechanical and rehabilitation lecturer and tutor at Victoria University. Wade is also involved in research for The University of Melbourne.
