Mr Stephen Archer is an experienced general and upper gastrointestinal surgeon. He is a local graduate of the University of Western Australia and completed his advanced training in WA Hospitals.
He completed his PhD in Surgery in 1992 during which he received the Florence Cancer Award from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He then completed a surgical oncology fellowship at the MD Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston Texas and undertook further surgical training in the United Kingdom from 1992-1994.
He commenced work in WA as a specialist consultant surgeon in 1994, with extensive clinical experience accumulated in both the public and private system.
