Dr. Shirhan Ho grew up in Sydney and did all his medical training there, initially in medical school through Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and later through St Vincent’s Hospital. He became a general surgeon in Bowral so that he could provide personalized service to a small, local community. He feels that his involvement in the Bowral Bariatric Centre complements this as obesity is becoming a serious health issue affecting a significant portion of the community.
