Ryan completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Health Science at the Australian Catholic University, followed by a Master of Clinical Exercise Science and Rehabilitation at Victoria University.

With a strong background in martial arts, Ryan has a particular interest in Brazilian jiu jitsu and resistance training. He achieved his black belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu in 2022, along with a black belt in Taekwondo in 2012. This experience gives him a strong understanding of how injuries occur during training, allowing him to deliver more targeted and effective treatment.

Ryan is a strong advocate for exercise-based care, using movement as a key tool to reduce pain, restore function, and support long-term quality of life. Outside the clinic, he enjoys training, reading and watching manga and anime, and relaxing at local cafes.
