Special interests: treating unusual pains and aches that have no clear biomedical diagnosis, chronic ‘never well since’ illnesses (lingering pathogens), dysfunctional digestive system and recovery from surgery, accident or injury.

Paul graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Health Science in Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture & Herbs) with first class honours. He completed his internship at Shanghai Shuguang Hospital, China.

Growing up in Geelong, Paul has a special interest in promoting the health benefits of Chinese Medicine to the local community. Paul has also worked in the disability support industry and has provided acupuncture treatments in drug and alcohol recovery settings including the Community Residential Withdrawal Unit (CRWU) at the Western Hospital, Footscray, and Windana Drug and Alcohol Recovery Community Centre, St Kilda. He is also a board member and a volunteer acupuncturist for the not-for-profit Hands on Health Australia (HOHA) Norlane Healing Hands clinic and in his spare time is a keen Tai Chi practitioner.

Paul was named the 2013 Healthcare Volunteer of the Year for his dedication to Norlane Helping Hands by providing low-cost healthcare to people who can’t otherwise afford it. While a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Paul also studies and trains in Gong Fu (Chinese martial arts) and Qi Gong (Chinese discipline devoted to the development of understanding, awareness and harmonizing of one’s mind, body, qi and spirit).  All these Chinese practices were created from the same philosophies and share many principles that work together to support health and longevity.

Paul consults at our Geelong Clinic on Mondays (all day), Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
