Josh has worked in private practice since graduating in 2005. Taking a keen interest in sports physio he has since completed further study in this area and has become a titled APA Sports Physio - one of only a handful on the Peninsula. Josh Ferguson joined The Sports injury Clinic as a Sports Physiotherapist and has recently been appointed the physiotherapist for the Canadian Hockey Team at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Josh enjoys working with sports people across the full spectrum of participation: from elite athletes to social participants for both injury prevention and improved conditioning. Josh also consults at The Victorian Institute Of Sport across all sports, including hockey, swimming, athletics, cycling and netball. Having been a state finalist in Swimming, State League Hockey player and National and State Title competitor in Surf Life Saving, Josh has a keen understanding of the physical demands of an athlete and the role of physiotherapy in performance maximisation as well as injury prevention and management.
