James is a physiotherapist who completed his physiotherapy degree at The University of Melbourne. Prior to this, James also completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science at Deakin University.

James has a background in functional strength and conditioning while also playing AFL at TAC Cup and VFL level himself. Currently he plays with Blackburn Football Club in the Eastern Football League. James enjoys working with individuals of all levels and ages in the prevention and management of injuries, in particular those with ongoing spinal pain. James has undergone extensive clinical pilates training and along with ensuring accurate diagnosis, James has an emphasis on individualised rehabilitation programs involving Clinical Pilates and Clinical Strength. James believes exercise has a vital roll to play in ensuring recovery from the initial injury through to achieving long term goals. James also enjoys working with post-operative patients to aid in their recovery and return to optimal function and performance. James has previously been involved with the Melbourne Storm National Youth League Team, Hawthorn Magic Basketball and Hawthorn Amateur Football Club.
