Cameron is a popular physiotherapist who has a special interest in the treatment of knee and shoulder injuries. He is a keen AFL supporter and sportsman and participates in cricket, tennis, table tennis, swimming, cycling and shooting. His main love though is alpine skiing. Cam is an Australian Paralympian and was named Paralympian of the year in 2010 following his efforts at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Paralympic Games where he won two bronze medals.
