Dr Wysocki is a general and laparoscopic surgeon who was awarded fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2006.
He gained a primary medical qualification through the University of Queensland and completed general surgical training in south east Queensland in 2003. He completed a further 3 years of post fellowship training in Pancreatic and Biliary surgery at John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle followed by Auckland City Hospital in New Zealand and finally Glasgow Royal Infirmary in Scotland.
Dr Wysocki will operate at Mater Private Hospital Springfield for a broad range of general surgical conditions including: gallstones, groin and abdominal hernias and pilonidal sinus. In addition he looks after patients with skin cancers, benign skin tumours, hydrocele and ingrown toenails.
Dr Wysocki also has public appointments at Logan Hospital where he is the Deputy Director of Surgery as well as at Beaudesert Hospital.
He is involved in clinical research with multiple peer reviewed publications, is a senior lecturer at Griffith University Medical School and instructs on the Early Management of Severe Trauma (EMST) course run by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
He holds an Honorary Research Fellowship of the Queensland Audit of Surgical Mortality; is the Supervisor of Surgical Training at Logan Hospital; President of the Australian Pilonidal Sinus Society and Editor-in-Chief of the Pilonidal Sinus Journal.
