Welcome to Modpsych Psychology Practice. My name is Keira Roffey-Mitchell (MAPS MCEDP) and I am an educational and Developmental psychologist working in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. I have almost 20 years experience working as a psychologist and specialise working with children and adolescents who are experiencing social and emotional difficulties. I can also see parents and adults who are experiencing difficulties but will always come from a developmental framework.

I utilise a variety of intervention strategies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, Expressive Therapies, Play Therapy and Solution Focussed Therapy. I am trained in both Triple P and Circle of Security Parenting Education but will cater skills to the needs of the child.

As a registered teacher I can also provide services to aid accessing the curriculum or identifying barriers to learning. This could be in the areas of assessment or suggesting interventions.
