Michelle is an Accredited Practising Dietitian. She completed a Bachelor degree of Biological Science before completing her Master of Nutrition and Dietetics at Deakin University. Michelle has also completed a certificate in Paediatric Nutrition at the Royal Children’s Hospital and training in the Ellyn Satter approach to child nutrition. Michelle has worked across a range of health settings, starting in rural community health before heading overseas to work in a hospital setting, specialising in oncology. Returning to Australia Michelle moved back into community health and commenced private practice. Her passion as a dietitian is to help clients improve their health through nutrition whilst discovering or maintaining enjoyment in eating. Michelle advocates for the non-diet approach helping clients stop the diet cycle and develop a positive relationship with food. Michelle’s vast experience as a dietitian over the past 15 years enables her to help clients with a wide range of health issues including diabetes, heart disease, gastrointestinal conditions and nutritional adequacy of special diets like vegetarian and veganism. In particular Michelle has a strong interest in paediatric nutrition and helping families find peace at the dinner table. Michelle can assist with fussy eating, growth concerns and general nutrition concerns you may have with your children or family member.
