Michelle Daymond is a compassionate, respectful and warm clinical psychologist with eighteen years experience working within the mental health field.

Michelle’s relaxed but focused approach to therapy enables her clients to feel genuinely supported as they develop skills to achieve their goals. Michelle has experience working in university clinics, hospital settings and private practices with children, adolescents and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds. She has a special interest in working with people to overcome trauma and has extensive experience working with first responders including police officers, paramedics and firefighters.

Michelle is also a Christian and often works with clients who wish to see a psychologist with a shared faith and world view.

Michelle draws from a variety of evidence-based treatment models in her work including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), schema therapy, mindfulness and the Gottman method.
