Jamie Keck, Michael Johnston, Richard Brouwer and Eugene Ong are specialist Colorectal Surgeons, who are members of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand and members of the Section of Colorectal Surgery of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. In addition to traditional colorectal procedures and colonoscopy, we have an interest and special training in laparoscopic (keyhole) colorectal surgery, Sacral Nerve Stimulation (SNS) for faecal incontinence and Transanal Endoscopic Microsurgery (TEMS). We are involved in multidisciplinary meetings for the management of both colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease, working closely with our Oncology and Gastroenterology collegues.
We manage all colorectal conditions and consult at St. Vincent's Hospital in Fitzroy, as well as having consulting rooms in Heidelberg, John Fawkner Hospital in Coburg and in Epworth Eastern Hospital Box Hill. We operate at St. Vincent's Private Hospital, Warringal Private Hospital, Epworth Eastern and John Fawkner Hospital. We perform colonoscopy at these hospitals as well as Jolimont Endoscopy and Bundoora Endoscopy
Patients will need a referral from a medical practitioner for a consultation. This can be either from a General Practitioner or another Specialist.
