Guy is a Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapist who has worked in both clinical practice and education for over 35 years. He also has an honorary appointment within the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at the University of Melbourne as a Senior Fellow.

Guy founded Carlton Physiotherapy Centre, treating patients with musculoskeletal conditions since 1976. He has experience in the management of sporting injuries, having spent a number of years as the physiotherapist with Carlton Football Club. Over the years Guy has focussed his knowledge towards headaches, facial pain and jaw dysfunction and he is one of few experts in this field in Australia. This has culminated in the development of our Jaw Clinic, allowing us to help as many people as possible suffering from these issues.

Guy holds a Doctor of Clinical Physiotherapy degree from the University of Melbourne along with other postgraduate research and coursework qualifications. His research interests have yielded several publications dealing with neck related headache, temporomandibular joint dysfunction and differential diagnosis of headaches. He has also been involved in mentoring and examining physiotherapists undertaking the specialisation examinations through the College of Physiotherapists in Australia. In 2015 he was awarded the Australian Physiotherapy Association (Vic) Achievement award for his contribution to the advancement of the physiotherapy profession.

He regularly conducts continuing education workshops on his areas of interest within Australia as well as in Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, and the Middle East.
