'm a Clinical Psychologist practicing in Hazelbrook, NSW. I provide therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. The therapies I use are evidence-based, and include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy. In my work with children I rely heavily on games, role-play and creative activities to teach therapy ideas and coping strategies. Issues I provide treatment for include: Anxiety and anxiety disorders (generalised, specific and social phobias, panic attacks and panic disorder) Depression (low mood, hopelessness, self-doubt, suicidal ideation) Low motivation Emotional difficulties (excessive guilt, anger, shame) Low self-esteem Mood management (e.g. mood swings) Relationship difficulties Self-harm Adjustment to life difficulties such as relationship breakdowns, loss and bereavement Oppositional behaviour difficulties Autism Spectrum Disorders: behaviour support, counselling My clinical experience includes employment in independent schools, adolescent mental health, and private practice. I hold a Master of Psychology (Clinical) and was awarded the Dean's Medal for Academic Excellence for this degree. To maintain my skills at the highest level, I regularly participate in professional development activities and clinical supervision.
