Dr Yun Hwang has a special interest in dementia and other cognitive disorders particularly in those under the age of 65, neurodegenerative disorders including Parkinson’s Disease, and complex headaches.
Dr Yun Hwang is currently pursuing a doctorate in dementia at the Brain and Mind Centre, University of Sydney. He completing his neurology training at Gosford Hospital, Canberra Hospital, then Royal Free Hospital in London, UK. This was followed by a clinical research fellowship at the Dementia Research Centre, University College London.
Dr Hwang is also a member of the Quality and Safety Working Group for Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Specialist Medical Review Council of Department of Veteran’s Affairs, a hospital surveyor for Health Education and Training Institute of NSW Health Department and a medical monitor for George Clinical, a contract research organisation.
