Dr Mistry is a fully qualified Plastic Surgeon with extensive experience in both Australia and New Zealand. He is Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS).
His main areas of focus are hand surgery, skin cancer surgery (including melanoma), and burns.
Dr Mistry moved with his family to Newcastle in early 2015 to focus on hand surgery at the John Hunter Hospital. He then joined Hunter Plastic Surgery in early 2016.
He consults from the Hunter Plastic Surgery clinic in Charlestown and operates privately at Warners Bay Private Hospital, Charlestown Private Hospital and Lake Macquarie Private Hospital.
Dr Mistry graduated from the University of Auckland in Medicine in 2001. He completed 10 years of specialist plastic surgical training in 2012. He has undertaken fellowships in aesthetic surgery, burn surgery, hand and micro surgery.
