Dr Wolfgang Seckler completed his medical training at the University of Hamburg in Germany in 1991. After graduating, he completed 2 years at the Hospital in Cologne before commencing his GP training in Bavaria. Dr Seckler has spent 6 years working as a Medical Informatics Consultant during his career. He has travelled and worked as a GP extensively around the world including South Africa, Uk, Germany and now Australia. Dr Seckler enjoyed his time as a locum GP in Longreach in 2000. After this experience he and his family then moved to Australia in 2005. He has worked in Oakey as a GP since moving to Australia. Dr Seckler has completed extra training in the area of Aviation Medicine and has a developed a strong special interest in this area.
