Dr Truong graduated from the University of Sydney in 1998. He trained at Westmead Hospital and has spent several years working in the Central Coast and Mid North Coast of NSW.
Working in smaller towns has given Dr Truong valuable experience in comprehensive healthcare including emergency care, paediatrics, cancer care, general medical and surgical care. He also has particular interests in preventative health and public health.
Dr Troung has worked in a sexual health unit and is very sensitive in caring for patients who require help in this area.
In 2008, Dr Truong completed his Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine with an elective in Travel Medicine as part of his further qualifications.
