Bill Tritton (MB, BS Qld, FRACGP, DIP PRACT DERM) studied medicine at the University of Queensland and joined the Ipswich Road Clinic in 1978 as a young, newly married GP. He had a particular interest in skin diseases and skin cancers having just spent three years at Princess Alexandra Hospital and then a year as a dermatology registrar at the Greenslopes Hospital. He continues to enjoy all aspects of general practice and has maintained his interest in skin conditions.

In 2005 he obtained a Diploma of Practical Dermatology at the Cardiff University in Wales.

He was the practice principal from 1987 when the practice consisted of four GP’s and a visiting gynaecologist until 2013 when IPN took over managing the group practice which had grown into a group of eleven doctors.

He enjoys teaching general practice to doctors in the GP training programme and is a casual senior lecturer for the University of Queensland.

He is married with two adult children and enjoys fishing, boating and travel in his spare time.

Please note – Dr Tritton alternates his Friday appointment times. Please call the surgery to confirm his availability.
