Dr Cockburn is a fully trained and qualified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon specialising in skin cancer, head and neck surgery, cosmetic surgery, and general plastic surgery including weight loss. Dr Cockburn graduated as a medical practitioner in 1979, entered the plastic surgery arena in 1985 and became a Fellow in plastic and reconstructive surgery in 1987.
Dr Cockburn is a past President of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons and is a member of the Australian Medical Association, the Head and Neck Society and the International Microsurgery Society.
