Dr Wong attended medical school at UNSW. He trained in surgery, orthopaedics and intensive care medicine before completing his specialist fellowship in General Practice. Dr Wong practices across the spectrum of medicine including chronic diseases (such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease), aged care, palliative care, paediatrics, orthopaedics and sports, as well as conditions such as obesity. He promotes total body health that incorporates healthy lifestyles including diet, exercise, and mind health. Dr Wong is also a Clinical Senior Lecturer with the University of Tasmania Department of Medicine. He is active in research and has recently co-authored a Cochrane Review on bed-wetting in Children. Dr Wong is currently overseeing the Weight Management Clinic at Earlwood Medical Centre. In addition to fluent English, Dr Wong speaks Cantonese as well as some basic French and Mandarin.
