Dr Warwick Marks grew up on the north shore of Sydney Harbour. In earlier years he ran businesses in hospitality and worked in hotel management, before becoming a pharmacist. He completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland, and a fellowship in General Practice.
He has further qualifications in skin cancer medicine. He also has a keen interest in cosmetic medicine, and is an active member of the Australasian Society of Cosmetic Medicine
