Dr Walter Chang was born in Melbourne and educated at Scotch College. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the university of Melbourne in 1989.
He completed his Masters of Surgery degree and undertook his Ophthalmology training at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. He then spent a year in Singapore obtaining further Ophthalmology experience, before obtaining his fellowship of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists.
Since 2001, he has been in private practice in Sydney and Melbourne.
He is a general ophthalmologist with interest in cataract surgery and glaucoma. Dr Chang speaks both English and Cantonese and is an accomplished classical pianist. He is married with two children.
