Dr Wajid Ahmad graduated from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan with a Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery in 2002. He then completed a Masters in Public Health and Health Services Management from Western Sydney University. He completed all his medical training in Australia in various teaching hospitals across Sydney. He completed his dual fellowships in Respiratory Medicine and General and Acute Care Medicine, and is awarded the dual fellowships of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He has extensive experience in rural and metropolitan medicine and is currently working as a specialist in Respiratory and General medicine
