Vrisha graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2007. She worked in emergency medicine, primary health care and neonatology before settling into general practice, working in both private and public GP sectors in various parts of South Africa. She furthered her education in Canada by completing her specialist training in Family Medicine while working in rural Canada as a General Practitioner. She is a member of the RACGP and ACNEM with whom she is expanding her education in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine.
She is fascinated by the breakthrough research and science in the field of the human microbiome and digestive health. She is passionate about addressing the root causes of ill health, prevention of chronic disease and strives to restore wellness.
Spending time in nature, travel and experimenting with nourishing foods are the ways she enjoys her free time.
