I am a doctor who lives and works in Hobart, Tasmania. I am a medical acupuncturist and low level laser therapist and I am also a medical educator who currently works as GP leader/clinical editor for Tasmanian HealthPathways. I have a Fellowship of the Australian College of Medical Acupuncture (FAMAC) and I am an active member of the the Australian Medical Laser Association. I have a Laser Safety Certificate of the International Electrotechnical Commission.
Background I was born and brought up in Zimbabwe and qualified from the University of Cape Town in South Africa. I worked in hospital and community medicine in Africa for 5 years before moving to Australia. I have lived in Tasmania for 32 years and consider myself most fortunate because this small island is for me the best place in the world. I have worked in hospitals in Tasmania and as a General Practitioner and a medical educator teaching medical students and post graduate doctors.
