Vinithra completed her ophthalmology training in India, and has since completed a Fellowship at Monash Medical Centre. In addition to her role at South Eastern Eye Surgery, she also works at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital.
Vinithra has a special interest in cataract surgery in addition to all aspects of general ophthalmology. She actively participates in surgical and clinical training of ophthalmology registrars at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital.
She is also involved in charity work with Vietnam Vision Project and the Fred Hollows Foundation.
