Dr Lee is a senior specialist Eye Surgeon providing comprehensive eye care in South West Victoria for 20 years. His main practice is cataract and refractive surgery with special interests in age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy and other common vascular disorders of the retina.

Dr Lee obtained his medical degree from University of Melbourne, completing clinical training at St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne. Worked as a junior plastic surgeon and neurosurgeon at the Austin and Repatriation Hospital; has undertaken original research studies in Diabetic Retinopathy at Centre for Eye Research Australia. His thesis was awarded the degree Master of Medicine by University of Melbourne.

Dr Lee has completed training in Ophthalmology with Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists; completed post-fellowship training in medical retina, glaucoma and oculoplastic surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital and Western Eye Hospital London. He was Consultant Ophthalmologist at Central Middlesex Hospital, London in 1998 and at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Melbourne from 1999 to 2009.

A Fellow of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists, Dr Lee's current consultant appointments are at St John of God Warrnambool Hospital, Colac Area Health and Western District Health Service Hamilton.
