As of March 6th 2017 Dr Vicki Woodward will no longer be consulting through GROW Obstetrics. Vicki will continue delivering babies at the Epworth Freemasons Hospital but as a solo practitioner with her own rooms. Until this time Vicki will continue working as normal within the GROW group, and bookings can be made through the GROW rooms as usual.
Vicki spent most of her childhood in rural Victoria and completed her medical training at Monash University in 1996. She went on to commence specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology training at the Royal Women’s Hospital and the Mercy Hospital for Women. Vicki also worked at South West Healthcare and Wentworth Women’s Clinic, in the Victorian township of Warrnambool and serviced the hospitals in the surrounding towns of Hamilton, Portland and Timboon.
Vicki’s final year of specialist training was undertaken at the Royal Women’s Hospital where she gained experience in the management of high-risk pregnancies, maternal-fetal medicine and ultrasound.
Prior to co-founding GROW, Vicki spent three years practicing as an obstetrician and gynaecologist in a busy public and private Warrnambool practice. During this time she also took on the role of Deputy Director at the Deakin University School of Medicine, teaching and examining medical students and gained a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education from Flinders University.
Outside of work Vicki loves to create culinary delights, exercise and relax with her husband and three children.
