Dr Vicki Nahamkes has been in general practice for over 20 years. Vicki graduated in 1986 from the University of Melbourne and after electing to pursue a career in General Practice, Vicki was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1994 and has vast knowledge and experience working in many different clinical settings across both public and private sectors. Vicki also worked in areas of GP shortage across Australia in remote rural and indigenous communities.
From 2006 to 2010 Vicki served as Commissioned Officer (CAPT) in the Australian Army Reserves (Medical Corps). For the last 14 years, Vicki worked in a multidisciplinary medical practice in Melbourne CBD delivering comprehensive medical services to the local business, government and education sectors as well as international students and visitors. Vicki has a particular interest in Women’s Health, Family Planning (including implant contraception), Mental Health Care, Sexual Health, Travel Medicine and Minor Surgery.
