Umair has been practising in the Macedon Ranges for many years now. He has worked in both Australia and the UK. Umair has his Fellowship in General Practice. He is a Partner at Neal Street Medical Clinic and has helped establish the Clinic. Umair will be working full time at the clinic.
Umair deals with simple and complex cases in General Practice. He has enjoyed looking after families in the region for the last few years and hopes to continue doing that. He particularly enjoys the continuity of care that general practice offers.
He has also spent many years of training in Plastic Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery. With that experience, he will be running a Cosmetic Clinic and also a Fracture Clinic at Neal Street Medical Clinic.
Umair has a special interest in Skin Cancers and will be involved in managing most of this locally at our clinic.
He is a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) and will be doing Aviation Medicals for Pilots.
Umair is also a GP Supervisor and will be involved in mentoring GP Registrars and medical students.
Umair loves his Cricket and Scuba Diving.
