Mr Landgraf graduated from Hanover Medical School in Germany in 2002 and went on to orthopaedic specialist training in Germany and Australia. During this time he worked in Melbourne, Tasmania, Perth, Townsville and Brisbane.


After completing his German training in 2011 he subspecialized into lower limb arthroplasty surgery (hip and knee joint replacements) and upper limb surgery (shoulder, elbow and hand).


He undertook fellowship training in Berlin in Germany and at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in Scotland. He then returned to Australia in 2015 where he did further subspecialty fellowship training at the Gold Coast University Hospital.


Dr Landgraf is registered as a specialist orthopaedic surgeon in Germany and the UK. He takes a great interest in research and education. He worked for the Accident Research Unit of Hanover Medical School and was awarded a Dr. med. (MD/ PHD) for research projects and written thesis. He is currently a lecturer at Griffith University at the Gold Coast and a senior lecturer at Deakin University here in Warrnambool.
