Dr Hubert Low is an Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgeon with interest in Head and Neck Oncology and microvascular reconstruction, thyroid, parathyroid and salivary gland disease, sleep apnoea surgery and general ENT conditions.He began his career in general surgery at Royal North Shore Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. During that time he was mentored by the late Chris O'Brien for Head and Neck surgery and Leigh Delbridge/ Mark Sywak for Thyroid/ Parathyroid surgery.
He subsequently started his Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgery training in Adelaide, and returned to New South Wales to complete the training. During these times, he worked at Flinders Medical Centre, Women and Children Hospital, Sydney Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital, John Hunter Hospital and the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in New South Wales.Dr Low undertook further post-fellowship training in Head and Neck Oncology/ Sleep apnoea surgery at Western Australia's Royal Perth Hospital, before heading for overseas post-fellowship training. He spent time at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (Taiwan) under Prof Fu Chan Wei in head and neck microvascular surgery, as well as Victoria Hospital (Canada) under Prof John Yoo, in microvascular/ head and neck reconstruction, facial nerve rehabilitation and transoral robotic surgery.
