Dr Trent Zeitzen (Cardiologist)

Dr Trent Zeitzen grew up in Hobart and completed his combined Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) with Honours at the University of Tasmania in 2009.

He completed his Internship and Basic Physician Training at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide and then completed his Advanced Cardiology Training, also in Adelaide, across the three sites of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Lyell McEwin Hospital and the Ashford Private Hospital.

Trent moved to Ballart and began working with Ballarat Cardiology at the start of 2018. He has an interest in General Cardiology, Heart Failure and Women’s Cardiac Health.

In addition to working with Ballarat Cardiology, Trent is credentialed at the St. John of God Private Hospital in Ballarat and maintains an appointment at the Ballarat Base Hospital.

Trent also maintains accreditation at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne and with Wimmera Health Services in Horsham. Trent has a keen interest in teaching and has a teaching appointment with the University of Melbourne.
