Dr Toma Mikhael graduated from the University of Basrah, Iraq in 1980 and completed his training as a Physician in 1991. Toma worked as a consultant Physician in Iraq and has been a general practitioner in Australia for 21 years. In 2001 he received the Aventus Award from the University of Melbourne and he has also been an examiner at the Royal College. Toma enjoys all aspects of general medicine, with special interests in paediatrics, women's health, minor surgeries and skin procedures. He also practices as a consultant physician. In his time away from work, Toma enjoys spending time with his two children and travelling.
