Tina joined us when Clock Medical Centre relocated and merged with Modern Medical Balwyn.

Tina could have ended up working as an environmental scientist, after graduating from Murdoch University with a degree in Science, but she chose to go back to study. Tina wanted to study something that would allow her to help people more directly. Medicine—particularly general practice—has given her the opportunity to do what she most loves, which is hearing people’s stories and helping them. “There’s never a dull day, and it’s always stimulating.”

Tina completed her Bachelor of Medicine in 2002 from Newcastle University. She obtained her Fellowship in General Practice in 2016.

As a family physician, Tina appreciates being free to practice medicine the way it ought to be practiced—working together with patients on the best treatment for them.

Tina is a keen gardener, so if she is not at the office she will be outside planting or digging the soil. A mother of three, she’s grateful for what Melbourne has to offer younger children. She loves hosting her family or friends for evenings around an open fire.
